Customer Rating: Very Versatile By T. Miller I just bought this item and was not sure what to expect. First of all, be advised that this is an adapter only that will allow you to mount racks to a factory installed roof rack. The Thule adapter attaches on to most factory roof racks be sure to check the fit guide for compatibility at www.thule.com. I used this adapter to add a pair of Yakima Raptor bike racks to my roof. Yes it worked with Yakima. The only adjustment I had make was to use a hacksaw to saw off some plastic components on the inside edges of the Yakima rack that fold in and out. I assume these were meant to be cut off because they folded back and forth. Leaving them on allows you to mount to a rounded bar and cutting them off adapts them to this bar which is rectangular in shape. In less than 1 hour everything was complete. This item is very afforadable, versatile, and easy to install. Customer Rating: Works Great! By Marc S.
