Customer Rating: Sturdy, multi-functional rack By Tiger Blvd I purchased this bike rack to transport a mtb from Louisiana to South Carolina. The rack is very sturdy and comes equiped with several convenient functions - like the anti-sway bar, keyed lock, straps, and more. I recommend this rack because of its functionality and price. The No-Wobble system works very, very well...the carrier is solid and still regardless of the terrain you're going over and the bikes don't move an inch when properly strapped on. Herrick Halfway out to Colorado on the rack's maiden voyage, I looked in the rear-view mirror to see the outermost bike tilted at a 30 degree angle. The rubber straps still gripped the bike frame, but one of them had itself slipped off the rack. No wonder the instructions say to be sure to tie the separate fabric strap securely to the frame; this keeps the rubber strap bracket from shaking loose. Additionally, the two metal arms you see on top are spaced too widely to accomodate many children's bikes. I haven't checked out any of the competition, to see if they're any better. 1-3 of 3
