This softride bike rack is great for quick trips to your favorite mountain bike trail. The Softride Versa 2-Bike Rack features anodized aluminum and powder-coated steel for the best in aesthetics, strength, and corrosion resistance. A unique spring loaded pull pin release lever allows for easy tilt and lift maneuverability for superior rear vehicle access. The telescoping aluminum tubes allow for a wide range of bicycle styles and sizes to be wheel mounted to the rack. QuietRide™ Locking & Tightening Anti-Rattle Technology keeps your bicycles solidly and quietly mounted to your vehicle. Safety features include end-of-rack safety reflectors for nighttime visibility and cable lock. The Versa 2-Bike Rack is the lightest and most compact wheel mounted bike rack available and folds up when not in use. This rack is outfitted with a 2" and 1.25-inch universal hitch bar to accomodate all receiver sizes.

The only problem for my small car is visibility, but all else works great. There was a small crack in one of the plastic pieces but that could have been from shipping. Had a muffler shop cut down the tongue attachment and weld it back together ($25) and now works great. Also assembly instructions may be obvious if you're the one who happened to engineer and design the original product, but for those of us who have never seen one of these things before, it was a frustrating process. I don't have to strain myself anymore to load the bikes. Everything you need to install the rack is included in the package. 1 1/4" or 2" hitch doesn't matter. All hardware is included. Even comes with its own hitch lock. A lock down cable for the bikes is also included. Just supply your own lock. I would highly recommend this carrier. 1-5 of 5
