Bell Rock Pathway
Closest Major City: Oak Creek
Distance: 3.70 miles (5.95 KM)
Description: The Bell Rock Pathway was opened in 1998 and is one of the best built trails in the area. It was built for mountain bike riding, hiking and some parts are for horse back riding. The trail head provides paved parking and a map to help guide your through the path. While on the path you will find several trail pointers to help you navigate the trail. Some may find that the path is very tame. This is not a problem as the trail has many intersections with other trails that add a greater degree of difficulty. However, these trails are not marked so you may find yourself lost after a while. Points of interest on the trail are the beautiful Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, Courthouse Butte, Lee Mountain and Wild Horse Mesa. Be sure to bring lots of water and pack a lunch as the trail can take several hours with all the sight seeing.
Directions to the trail: From Sedona, head South on HWY 179 to the north end of the Village of Oak Creek. Trailhead is well marked.
