This 3,000 acre ranch is packed with lots of fun fire roads and singletrack. The best place to start is the Chapparel Loop. This will take you through a good portion of the area and allow you to see the wide variety of options available. Along the loop you will see countless spur trails. All are a blast. It'll take you a couple visits to experience it all.

Directions to the trail:
From I-15 take the Del Norte Parkway exit just North of Escondido. Go East on Del Norte for about 4 miles to La Honda Rd. Turn left on La Honda and follow the signs to Lake Dixon. The trailhead is at the entrance to the lake.
