Description:
Ride back on 3S27 to the main intersection. -Go west on 3S22. In about 1 mile you will come to a meadow, there are two routes here, the best route is to your left. The two routes meet up later. -Stay to your right as you go along side the meadow. -Just keep staying to your right till you cross a creek, then keep left. -Go across Deadman Creek and take a right onto Deadman Creek Rd. This is a main road that becomes wider in a little bit. -Stay on the main road, at about 5 miles into the ride you will come to a major intersection. There are campgrounds down both roads. -Just stay on the road till you reach2S29, then take a right and head south. If you want to stay on Deadman Creek Rd and you will come back to Mammoth Scenic Loop. -Now take a right onto 2S29 D, this will become 3S22 and this will take you back to the main intersection you started at.

Directions to the trail:
From Hwy 203 head west through Mammoth Lakes. About 1 mile out from Lake Mary Rd turn right onto Mammoth Scenic Loop Rd. Go down about 3 miles to the Inyo Craters turnoff, it is signed. Turn left onto 3S30 and go up to parking lot at the craters.
