Description:
There are several trails here to choose from offering moderate climbs, fun descents, technical sections, stream crossings and some loose rock sections that will challenge anyone. To get to the trails from your car, ride further down the road you came in on until you come to a gate. Here you can catch the Trabuco Canyon Trail. From here you can hook up with some other trails. You will be faced with the choice of the West Horse Thief Trail which takes off to the left, and another trail which will take you up the hill to the right. The trail to the right offers much more and better riding.

Directions to the trail:
From I-5 take the El Toro Rd. Exit and go east. At around 8 miles you will come to a fork in the road. Take the right fork onto Live Oak Canyon Rd. After about two miles you will pass O'Neil Park and see a creek bed to your left. Park here.
