Description:
This ride follows dirt roads and a rail trail along the Salmon River making for a scenic and leisurely ride. From the parking area, follow River Road North past Dickinson Creek and turn right into the dirt road blocked by boulders. This leads up to the railroad grade. Follow it South.

Directions to the trail:
From Colchester, head West on Route 16 towards East Hampton. The Salmon River State Forest is located on Route 16 at the town line between Colchester and East Hampton.
