Description:
This is a ski resort that has opened trails to mountain biking in the summer. As such, the trails can be fairly rocky and technical in places. Trails are marked by skill levels. The most fun is the black diamond trail from the top of the funacular. It offers a taste of all types of terrain and provides a steep and challenging ride. There are trails here for all skills, but if you don't pay attention to the trail ratings you could easily get over your head.

Directions to the trail:
The roads which were built for the Olympic Games make access to Bourg Saint Maurice very easy : motorway to Albertville, dual carriageway to Moutiers, then the RN90 to Bourg Saint Maurice. Les Arcs is reached by a wide mountain road (improved during summer '96, thanks to the Tour de France).
