The trails tend to be technically challenging. There is even one section, the Power Line Trail that is extreme. You will encounter stumps, roots, rocks, logs and other obstacles to put your in-the-saddle skills to the test. Not much of a chance to build up speed, but plenty other ways to have fun. There are lots of trails to choose from so go have fun, but ride within your ability.

Directions to the trail:
From Lenexa take HEY 435 to Shawnee Mission Parkway and follow Shawnee Mission West to Midland Drive. Turn left onto Midland then a quick right at the first chance you get. Follow the gravel road to the left and park in the lot on the right. The trails are paved to start. The dirt trail begins about a mile in.
