Mountain Creek is a ski resort located in vernon N.J. During non ski season they open the hills and trails to bikers. There are miles of single track, fire and secondary access roads, and down hill runs both on the slopes and cut thru the woods.There is also a marked N.O.R.B.A. race course that you can ride on non race days. The trails ive ridden arn't too technical but some of the downhill runs thru the woods i thought i was gonna try were ABSOLUTELY INSANE, i turned around and walked away from them. The down side is that they charge you like $20 for a lift pass to use the gondola to get to the top of the hills where the trailhead is and you cant go in without the pass. It's a pretty good place to ride.

Directions to the trail:
Mountain Creek is on Route 94 in Vernon, New Jersey. From NYC - Take the George Washington Bridge to Rt. 80 West, to Rt. 23 North, to Rt. 94 North. From Central New Jersey Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 153b at Rt. 3 West and follow directions for NYC (above). From the North (including Connecticut) From Rt. 84, take Rt. 17 East towards NYC and get off at Exit 126, which is the Chester Exit. Then take Rt. 94 South to Vernon, New Jersey.
